Before founding Cahoone Investigations, Charles worked as a police officer and police investigator, building the investigative instincts and evidence-handling discipline that only come from working real cases under real stakes. He later became a licensed private investigator in California, where he served clients across the state and continued his professional development through years of advanced training with the California Criminalistics and Defense Seminar (CCDS) — coursework focused on homicide investigations, capital defense cases, and complex case analysis.
